Gossip Girl: Behind The Scenes

With the one and only Blair Waldorf's quote, I'd like to show you a picture of a Gossip Girl Photoshoot me and my friend Dorien had only a year ago. The photographer e-mailed me the pictures so I kinda 'Picasa-ed' them myself. This is the result!

Hey there folks! Weather has turned grey again up in here, but whatsoever: I have had one of the best nights of my life just yesterday.With my bunch of girlfriends we went to see Major Lazer in concert in Brussels' AB !Major Lazer is a musical project by DJ/producer Diplo.  Formerly a collaboration along with DJ/producer Switch, they parted ways in late 2011. Diplo has since enlisted producers/DJs Jillionaire and Walshy Fire to help with the production and live shows.

First programme was a sort of chill-out DJ-set by some longhair-guy with (in our opinion) quite some gay moves. I looked up his name, seems like he calls himself Cashmere Cat. Strange name for a rough looking guy like him actually :) He was awesome although and so he was the perfect starter for a mash-up Major Lazer performance!When Diplo walked right on stage, the crowd went crazy, and this during the whole concert. Except some diehards on first rows pushing everything and everyone that crossed their ways, we had a really great time. Sweaty, wet bodies all around us made it even better :)

When MJ invited girls to dance on stage I ran all the way to first row to grab my chance: my friends even helped me by pushing me over the grid. Unfortunately I didn't make it on time but I honestly didn't mind, because two seconds later I met a really cute and awesome guy called Simon :) Together with a friend of mine we stayed with each other the whole concert, being careful not to get involved in heavy moshpits and dancing to the beat.. 

About 10:30 PM the show was over, but we're definitely going to see these guys again :) Hope you like the pictures!XOXO, O.

Exquisit Antwerp

Hey there peeps

Have to admit, it's been a whiiiile since I have been posting. I'm so busy with school ans sometimes I just need a little break without the world wide web hanging around :) I promise you I will keep up with posts so I'm definitely not disappointing you. 

Today, I had a school trip to Antwerp! So together we walked around the city, guided by a woman who knew a lot about literature. We have seen every little monument that marks Antwerp about its literally history. 

After eating a really good spaghetti at a travel café -very hipster btw, but that's only one of the things which are remarkable for the city of fashion- we were free to fill in our afternoon. Ofcourse, me and my girls took the quickest way up to De Meir, after buying some cute stuff in a really nice vintage shop, the biggest shopping street of Antwerp.

You got really nice shops there which are not that expensive. For real labels you better go to the side lanes of this street. These are the lanes where Pinko, Karen Millen, Kooples and so on are situated.

We decided to keep it low budget so we got off to ZARA, River Island, Mango and ofcourse: Urban Outfitters.

Here you can see some pics a friend of mine has taken, it was really amazing to have my friends around on a quite sunny day :)

I love the retro fifties look with fluo colors they had in River Island! Also the dresses were amazing(ly cheap).
